Armband Mughal or Deccan, India Late 17th Century Fabricated from gold and set in kundan technique with diamonds, rubies, glass and yellow sapphires on the front. The reverse is exquisitely enamelled with a large poppy motif in deep red, white, black, gold, and leaves in deep green, on a rich unadorned gold ground.
